The loft is 500 square feet, and sectioned into two breeding, two young bird, two old bird, and office sections.  A hallway makes easy access to all sections and affords storage space.  The landing platforms are extended on race day, or training days.  They are hinged, and fold down when they are not in use.  I have four antenna plus traps.  Only three are used, but the extra one is there for training and backup if one of the others fail.  That has already happened once. All air flow is controlled by windows that are located on the sides and front of the loft.  The high roof design affords great ventilation.  The attic fan can assist circulation on stagnant days.
